Our Impact

A update from our Executive Director, January 2026

As we celebrate Cerebral Palsy Strong’s first full year as a nonprofit organization, I’m reflecting on every connection made, every story told, and dollar raised — it all has amounted to so much!

  • In November 2024, we hosted our first east-coast CP Social in New York City with packed attendance — there were over 40 people with CP from all over North America in one room!

  • In October 2025, we hosted our second CP Social in Portland, welcoming both new and familiar faces! Attendees shared their own personal stories, participated in a robust Q&A session, and so much more. Since our first event in 2019, we’ve welcomed nearly 150 people into our spaces.

  • We shared dozens of story submissions from community members globally — together, we worked to increase CP awareness and expand our reach on social media by 80+% compared to last year!

  • This summer, we co-organized a community member-led fundraiser thanks to Chad Williams who helped us raise over $2,000 in less than a month!

  • We received generous support from a handful of anonymous donors who believe in our mission and want to see us carry it out. Thank you for your trust!

  • Thanks to corporate matching, fundraising campaigns, and your generous donations, in 2025 Cerebral Palsy Strong increased our funding by approximately 250% from last year! We couldn’t have done it without your generous support.

So what does this mean for CP Strong in 2026? We have so many exciting things in store for you!

Active Membership Program: At Cerebral Palsy Strong, everyone belongs to our community — but Active Members take that connection to the next level. With an annual $99 tax-deductible contribution, members gain access to interactive virtual spaces, early event access, and more opportunities to connect, learn, and support one another. The first 20 members will join our Founding Members Circle and help shape the future of our growing community, so if you are interested, you can become a member today!

2026 CP Social: We are also hard at work planning for our next CP Social, so be sure to fill out our early interest form to stay in touch: more to come soon!
